It depends on the flavor path: 2,500 bags per SKU for an existing Corks flavor, 5,000 for a modified or custom flavor. Exact minimums can shift with bag size, ingredients, and packaging — we'll confirm the number when we quote your project.
How long does it take?
Lead time starts once your flavor, artwork, and packaging are approved and any required deposit is in. From there we'll give you a firm production and ship date as part of your quote.
Do I need to supply my own bag design?
Send us print-ready artwork if you have it, and we'll confirm it's ready to go before anything goes into production. If you don't have artwork yet, we can help with bag design too — artwork and prepress are quoted separately based on your project.
Can you develop a new flavor for us?
Yes. Custom development includes R&D samples and a couple rounds of revisions to get it right, and we'll walk you through cost and timeline before anything starts.
Is my flavor exclusive to me?
Handled case-by-case — we'll talk through what makes sense for your brand. Corks retains ownership of its underlying recipes and processes unless we agree to something different in writing.
Can I try a flavor before I commit?
Yes — existing Corks flavors are available as a sample kit ($35 plus freight) before you place a production order. Custom development includes its own R&D samples along the way.
What packaging options do I have?
Two paths: customer-branded labels on our stock or unprinted bags (a flexible way to start), or fully custom printed film for larger programs. Labels, film, plates, and other packaging components specific to your brand are billed separately and are generally non-cancelable once ordered, so we'll walk through costs with you before anything's placed.
What are the payment terms?
First-time private-label customers typically put down a 50% deposit with the purchase order, with the balance due before shipment — and customer-specific ingredients, labels, or film may need to be paid for in advance. Established customers may qualify for standard credit terms.
